Rounds
Each inspection run is a round. Round 1 is the initial submission. Applying approved fixes automatically triggers the next round, so you do not need to press anything twice.
- Findings are stamped with the round they were detected in, so history stays readable.
- Asset versions increase alongside rounds — a repaired image becomes v2, a second repair v3.
- The score, verdict and issue counts on the header always describe the newest round.
Re-inspecting after a manual edit
- 1Fix the item yourself — re-export the image, or edit the listing text in the fix screen.
- 2Open the inspection and press Re-inspect.
- 3Wait for the new round. Resolved findings disappear; anything still present is reported again with the new round number.
Re-inspection consumes one unit of your monthly quota, exactly like the first run.
Disputing a finding
Rules are conservative on purpose. If a finding does not apply to your product — for example a claim that is legally substantiated with a certificate you hold — you can dispute it instead of changing your listing.
- 1Open the finding and choose Dispute.
- 2Write what makes the finding wrong for this product. Reference the certificate, approval number or marketplace policy that supports you.
- 3Submit. The finding moves to the disputed state and stops counting against the score in the report narrative.
A dispute records your position; it does not make the marketplace accept the listing. Keep the supporting document ready in case the marketplace asks for it.
Dismiss versus dispute
| Action | Use when | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Accept | You agree and will fix it. | The finding is queued for the fix screen. |
| Dismiss | It is real but you accept the risk. | The finding is closed with your name and time recorded. |
| Dispute | You believe the rule does not apply. | The finding is marked disputed with your written reason. |
Every decision is written into the job history with who decided it and when, so a teammate opening the inspection later can see the reasoning.
