What consumes a unit
| Action | Units |
|---|---|
| Running an inspection | 1 |
| Re-inspection, whether manual or triggered by applying fixes | 1 |
| Reading results, findings, reports and the ruleset | 0 |
| Downloading assets or the ZIP | 0 |
A job with 12 images still costs one unit. The unit is the inspection run, not the file count.
Where to check
- Settings, then Usage — this month's total, the split by API key and by team member, and the daily trend.
- GET /api/v1/usage — the same numbers for a monitoring dashboard.
The quota resets at the start of each calendar month in UTC.
When the quota runs out
New inspections stop. The interface shows the quota message instead of the run button, and the API returns 429 with the code quota_exhausted. Everything you already inspected stays fully readable and downloadable.
Plan and quota changes are handled by Dodam AI. Send a message through the contact form and include the organization name and the volume you need.
